TickleMeElmo
$0 - I'm poor. Hopefully I'll be attending the Normal, Illinois show. I'm all for Blue Stars and Phantom. Edited June 20, 2006 by TickleMeElmo
mello916
Modesto: - Bought a $25 reserved seat at the gate (my buddy and I were going to get the cheaper general-admission ticket, but said "what the ####, do it for the kids" and spent the extra $$$) - $6.50 for a trip-tip sandwich "meal" (chips and soda included) - Didn't do the math re: gas, but it was about 140 miles round-trip from Sacramento - No souvies this time, but I'll get my yearly SCV children's size t-shirt (for my son) at Moonlight Classic. Overall: Had a great time in a very great seat, took care of my munchies with just $6.50, and can't wait for the next show. The start of drum corps season is always one of my favorite times of the year ...
MN DCI Fan
$30 for tix for my wife and I. $10 in food (great brats in Menomonie, by the way) $0 in souvies (this time...) Edit: Oh, and travelled about 50 miles each way from the Twin Cities to Menomonie. Edited June 20, 2006 by MN DCI Fan
frontline99
Traveled about 60 miles to Modesto Spent $0.00 on tickets. (My job may suck, but it has a few perks) Spent $23.00 on souvies (SCV "old school" tee and SCV and BD wristbands) I'll go Mandarins at the Concord show. madscout96
I travelled slightly over 50 miles to go from Detroit to Toledo, and then I spent $12 on a ticket (from some HS band dad who had leftover group tickets) and $7 on the Glassmen Alumni all-you-can-eat scholarship benefit barbecue. Phantom&Phitch
I think you should add a third category to that... "how much time did you spend on DCP" lol
bluecoats88
When I lived in the midwest opening weekend was great because you could get to a couple shows, but now that I'm in DC I have to wait until the 30th (Westminister, MD) before any corps get close enough to make a quick trip.
