csugrad
Come on.. between being the first show for Crown and it being a home show let them get the jitters out of their system. I am sure they will improve like all of you WANT them to do. LOL
StarVoyager
Phantom takes Music. (their GE is really close to Boston though)Nice. Yea how about that? Only .1 separating BAC and PR in total GE. Drill must still be really dirty for them looking at performance and visual effect areas. No big deal though. They have PLENTY of time to get it clean. :) Go PR!!!!! myopinion
I saw PR snare line a week ago and thought they were rock solid....I can only imagine now!
X DM
Come on.. between being the first show for Crown and it being a home show let them get the jitters out of their system. I am sure they will improve like all of you WANT them to do. LOL Carolina Crown's 2005 ballad " Angel " will remain one of my all time favorite Drum Corps ballads. That was so smooth and the mellophone line was outstanding on it too. Edited June 25, 2006 by X DM
Bored50345
Looks like Cap Reg is taking it on the chin where they seeming do every year, in the visual caption. Phantom beats Cadets in both overall music performance. Can anyone beat Phantom's drumline? Looks like only BD has a chance if scores keep up. Boston was really close to PR in GE. That was a surprise. Crown's brass score is not really a shock to me personally. It's going to be an interesting season. Some really good corps aren't going to make finals this year. Phansouth
yeah, right now it's hard to tell who will be left out. I was ready to write off Voston, but that was obviously wrong. GMen will need to work hard in Europe, or they'll come back to find out how much better Colts and Spirit are this year. And you can't forget Xmen. They debut tomorrow I think. idontwan2know
Interesting that Phantom wins brass and drums, but is significantly behind Cadets in ensemble. Can't believe that will hold up throughout the season.
JMS0527
Bear in mind that brass and perc judges are right there at field level whereas Ensemble Music is not...
idontwan2know
True. I still find it hard to believe that as the season progresses and ensemble issues are worked out that the situation will remain the same. Either Cadets will catch up and pass in the individual captions, or Phantom will catch up and pass in ensemble.
