I know this is just prelims....but......surprised to see Blue Devils and Cavies in their current spots. Last time both corps were in these spots was 05 ( BD ) and 83 ( cavies )

Any surprises by these early results? 1. California 2. Texas 3. Ohio/Florida 5. Virginia I personally thought California would be a lot more. Wasn't expecting Virginia at all. And....two of the top five states don't even have corps based in them. Thoughts?

Clearly that is not the intent of this poll. The first poll which was titled "which State has the highest number of DCI marchers" was flawed. Unfortunately, I forgot two key words while creating this poll ( I was hoping no one would try to make a connection as Michael Boo did and throw the thread off topic ).

Yes, this is very dependent on DCP'ers. The sample numbers might not tell the whole story of which state has the highest number of marchers, but this is the only forum to possibly take a true sample of marchers that I can get.

PLEASE ONLY CURRENT OR FORMER MARCHING MEMBERS ONLY! I was just wondering which State has given DCI the most marching members? Is it California because they have the most corps? Is it Texas being the largest State in the Continental US? Or is it some place like Ohio, who seem to be everywhere ( you can find someone who has lived in Ohio just about everywhere you go). Or is it a State that you wouldn't think about having a large DCI population? If a Non- US State voter ( please vote for where your corps was located) I know this might alter the numbers a bit. I know this will not be scientific, but interesting none-the-less. Show your support for your State!

I would also put the most current score first 1. 99.65- 2014 Blue Devils 2. 99.15- 2005 Cadets, 2002 Cavaliers 4. 99.05- 2009 Blue Devils, 2002 Cavaliers ( semi finals )

For finals- I think 1st, 6th, 11th and 12th placements are locked in. Spots 2-3, 4-5, 7-8, 9-10 could go either way flipping/staying the same as semi's

Do the staff get DCI title rings as well? Just wondering if it would be like the coaches in sports.

If it was in the tunnel and not on the field then why were they penalized? IS the tunnel now considered part of the field?

I don't think it's a "cut out". Notice how the collar comes down and is offset. The bottom just continues the offset that begins at the collar.

regardless of who is writing the drill...I'm just happy that the Glassmen are planning to be on the field in 2013!

Check out the Glassmen website and Facebook page for audition dates for the 2013 season. I do believe that Sal Salas is the interm director for the Glassmen 2013 season. By the looks of things...this is a typical Glassmen style audtion season.

Glad to be out of the Indiana circut of shows ( it was brutal on most of these corps scores wise )! Lets hope Iowa can get these corps to open it up again!
