Cal. to clean and get ready for the "Drum-off up the Santa Ana" meeting with Raincross. I'm very proud of how the NMP represented themselves this weekend, on and off the field. 4 finalist, 3 medalist, and 2 champions goes well beyond our expectations thus far. We're gonna take a couple of days off and enjoy New Orleans and we may preactice a litte before the next contest. The groups are having fun in the DCPI circuit and hope they are gaining some credibility as a corps amongst the other vetrans in the league. Nothing against who won at the Eastern show, it wouldn't affect the top 3 I think, but I think the score was low for us. Congrats to the winners of the Regionals. StarOrg Posted July 11, 2006 Share Posted July 11, 2006 (edited) Now that the dust has settled from the judges sheets just want to say congrats to everyone on Regional performances. Very pleased with our 3 corps. Much improvement over the last week heading up to these events. Star of Hawaii won GOLD at the West Regional in Division II. Just .4 over VK Too Star of Jupiter took SILVER at the South Regional nearly repeating as Champion against their rival Menagerie (less than a tenth). Cross in their first US Regional ever took SILVER at the East Regional. .3 from our international foe, The Parliament. Congrats Shannon on your corps success.
