ScribeToo
thats a weird reply??? How do you post a pic on here??? I looked all over and cannot find any... Marlene, You'll need to know the URL address -- that's the address of the picture where you keep it on the web. Whatever the address is, it has to start with "http" and end with ".jpg" (someone tell me if other picture formats are valid, I don't know for sure). Once you have that, you can do one of two things, either click on the picture of the tree in the menu bar directly above the box you type in, then paste the URL into the box that pops up. Or just type (without any spaces) [ IMG ] then put the URL address after that last bracket, then after the address you type (again, without spaces) [ /IMG ] That should post your pictures here on DCP. Good luck! Stef
Chickie
That was taken in a Hotel in Baltimore where we had a contest but the Bon Bons were not in it so we took a train down from Jersey... The guy in the center was or is the DM of Scout House Alumni now... I am in the dark dress and my friend is Joan Somers from the Bon Bons also... She lives in Ohio now...I am still in Joisey and never left... The other two guys were identified but I lost the names... I would like to find out who they are... Thanks, Marlene
Chickie
I don't keep any photos on the web...They are in My Documents on My puter... You can't download from there??? TennTux
thats a weird reply??? How do you post a pic on here??? I looked all over and cannot find any... Mar, You must use an on line photo hosting site, upload your photo and get the HTML code (link) and post that link on DCP. I had asked that very same question back in Dec, 05...Here are some of the suggestions I received. (in the DCP Customer Service Center) I used http://imageshack.us/ to post your Scout House photo. Hope this helps, Yours in Corps, Tony B) http://www.drumcorpsplanet.com/forums/inde...w+to+post+phoos From Stef I know for sure Photobucket works because that's what I use. When you've uploaded a photo there, one of the scripts they give you starts with .. just copy and paste that into a post here on DCP. That should do it. If one of the scripts you get does NOT start with (it has to be with the square brackets, not < and >), then just copy the URL option and put the before it and after it, put another set of square brackets around /img -- that's how you do it. I will ask you that you please try to make sure your pictures are sized to fit in a 15" to 17" screen.. most people have 17" now so that will keep people from having to scroll left or right to see your pictures. Happy posting! Stef From Danielle I also highly recommend Imageshack (http://imageshack.us/) for hosting photos. I have never had downtime or any problems with them. They provide all the tags and urls for posting already scripted as well.

Thanks also to Tony for adding it for me...Mar Mar, Picasa (from Google) http://picasa.google.com/index.html is a software program to help you manage and find photos on your computer. You'll need one of the on line photo hosting sites to get the link(s) to post your photos from your computer to DCP. Here's a list of a few...(PhotoBucket and ImageShack work great for posting your photos on DCP) ImageShack, http://www.imageshack.us/ PhotoBucket, http://www.photobucket.com/ Village Photos, http://www.villagephotos.com/ Upix, http://www.upixs.com/login.php Picure Trail, http://www.picturetrail.com/webpages/imagehosting.shtml My Image Hub, http://www.myimagehub.com/ Tony B)
