To many Arnold will be remembered for his "Children's Marching Song", which later lent its tune to the "Barney" show theme song, "I Love You...You Love Me".
I trust God won't hold that against him.

His trumpet concerto is still my favorite in the repertoire, and his Fantasy for Brass Band ranks up there in that idiom as well.

He will CERTAINLY be missed.

R.I.P, Malcolm.

Malcom Arnold was an educator who could write music that was not only educational, but could reach and entertain an audience...a talent that is very, very rare in today's world of composition.

He will most certainly be missed, but his music will live on...
