CSGreen
Dutch Boy was one of 3 II/III corps I ordered APDs on from Prelims. I couldn't wait to hear their show. After hearing it, if they can keep these kids and staff, and continue the growth path they are on, they will not only regain Division I status, they will surpass their historical success. I truly hate that I was unable to see the show live and that I won't get to see it on DVD. I am really looking forward to what Dutch Boy brings to the field in 07, and hope recruiting goes well this offseason. It's time for Dutch Boy's return
ROO
In before ODBC! :P HAHAHAHA- Nice Adam! As for the topic- Who knows, it'd be nice. Thanks Frontierdirector for the really kind words. The kids we have are absolutely amazing! In my 17 years of being around the activity, I'd have to say I've never been with such a great bunch of kids last year. susantaylor40
Sometimes growing slowly from a steady and dedicated base IS the best way to go. So what if you aren't a division I class corps from the get go.... that mistake was learned the hard way when Northstar was in existence. Will Dutch eventually be back in division I? I believe so, but it will not be overnight. However, I will be in the stands cheering my fool head off when they do, the same way I am up there doing it right now. drumcat
Not intended to be snide, but Dutch now should have a few dozen kids to draw from locally that were Kavaliers, right? Maybe Dutch would benefit?

neddy
I don't think any of the Canadian KK kids decided to march 06 with Dutch. I may be wrong but I don't see 07 being any different. Although it would be nice for Dutch to pick up some members. I wish Dutch all the best! I am proud to be alumni.
Walter
Dutch Boy will some day be back in Division 1, some day !! The majority of our members are die hard Dutch Boy members. Some of our members have been here 10 years or more, those are the ones you can build a corps around. Building a Division 1 corps back up isn't easy as many people know. There have been many Division 1 corps fold and then make a long and pain staking climb back up, case in point, the Blue Stars. Ya, of course I would love to have Dutch Boy back in Division 1. When will it happen ? I don't know, nobody does !! But we're working on it !! B) We're PROUD to have Neddy as a member of our ALUMNI !! jonnyboy
With KK moving, is Dutch our last Canadian Corps? I know the Bandettes are still doing parades and hope to come back, but Dutch is on the field. Could the Dutch Boy bill themselves as such? Rally all the Canadian corps vets, and try and market a Canadian powerhouse? There has to be several thousand Canadian corps vets, someone should tap that market for donations.
