That's a pretty good percussion staff. It's been awhile since hearing Mike Stevens name. Blue Knights percussion success in the late 90's owes much of its success to him.

Yea, didn't Knights get in to the top 6 and even in to like 3rd in 99 or 2000?? Mike is an amazing talent.

Should be interesting to see what they can put out with the percussionists in the NW.

well...i think it would have been a great move if they could've gotten mike stevens on board as the caption-head.

knowing the OTHER percussion staff members....[What you had here before, will not be tolerated, and was deleted by Matthew] i just hope that mike stevens can make a difference.

cascades have had talented people such as jeff bush, david reeves, matt little, etc...running their drumlines, and now they have this...it's a shame really. i'm disappointed...however, i do understand WHY they did it....but i wont state my thoughts on why. i'm sure MOST people in the NW know what i'm thinking.

i don't want to get into it too much...it just makes me sick...EVERYTHING that is happening here in the NW.

--Please watch how you say things. Slandering and trash talking any staff or administration will not be tolerated. I will go through and edit if you continue to post trash.--Matthew

I like Mike Stevens and think that he will do wonders with this young staff. John S. is an amazing talent and if he's got the bass drummers that can play, they'll be great. I don't think you should write the percussion staff off yet. I also know that some people question Chris's age and abilities, but with Mike S. there, it doesn't matter to me.

I too am very skeptical of the happenings on in the NW, but I've learned to be patient and see what comes of it.

Maybe I'm being too hopeful that the NW will put a great percussive product out on the Div 1 field.

I am an alum of Scades and worked with OC in the lean times and I just hope that something comes of all this chaos.
