If it plays like my old King I had in the dev's i would love to play on one.

Yeah, I played on them....brand new. Very nice.

Phantom made a top notch choice in selecting new Bb horns. Lovely, rich sound.

Playing high is a bit difficult for some reason on these horns, takes more out of your chops...but I'm sure that'll be an easy fix after they get used to them.

.....the "gap" is too wide..

Has anyone seen the new Bb Contras (tubas) that King is making? I know that Phantom is using them but I can't seem to find what they look like.

I know that this should be in the brass forum, but I think this area gets more exposure.

We have an opportunity to get some, but I want to know how the valves are configured. Are they like normal contras or valve forward like Yamaha?
