Imamoonvomit
Completely unconfirmed, but I've heard these numbers from several people. "1000 Airplanes on the Roof" - Philip Glass "Firebird Suite" - Igor Stravinsky "The Flower Duet" -Léo Delibes

Einstein On The Beach
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO STRAVINSKY!!!!Philip Glass, Yeccch!!! Philip Glass, Yeccch!!! Philip Glass, Yeccch!!! (in the style of Philp Glass. Heh-heh. Get it?) Yeah, cause everyone knows how horrible Philip Glass' music is SCV 99 didn't turn out too bad, now did it? I'm always very happy when a corps plays Glass, or John Mackey. Edited December 11, 2006 by Einstein On The Beach
festive
I was actually listening to 1000 Airplanes on the Roof in the car this morning. If they ARE playing that, then I'm very, very excited. I like Adams more than I like Glass, but ever since Fog of War came out, I've had a greater appreciation for Glass. This could be very cool. I'm least excited about Firebird, but I'm sure the design staff is going to have a unique take on all of this material. And I'm also certain that it's going to set the place on fire. geluf
The only thing Glass has written that I absolutely can't stand is "Einstein on the Beach". All his other stuff I can get into without much of a problem.

madalumni
This appears to be very exciting! I wonder what they do with the 2nd piece. Edited December 12, 2006 by madalumni
BDguardsman
I just found out what 1000 airplanes on the roof sounded like. If I remember correctly, one of Scott Chandler's winterguards used the piece in 1990. I am pretty pleased with Phantoms repertoire so far.
