What country music would make a good show

Recommended Posts

I'm not sure if someone has ever tackled a country music show. For some reason I think it would be cool; especially, now that I am older and have a much broader appreciation for music than when I was a teenager. What music do you think might make a wicked cool and entertaining show.

I say:

A little Johnny Cash

Some Truck Driving Man

Some Dueling Percussion

Sprinkle a little Jerry Reed in there

With some Willie Nelson

That's just me though.

There is some stuff out there that would work well, but like any other genre, all depends on the arrangement

Hey all,

If memory serves me correctly, back in the 1970's the Cumberland Freestatesmen did a couple years of country music....I can't remember what music they played but I remember the snare drummers turning their drums upside down and playing the bottom strings like banjos....Some great memories from the past.... B)

There are some good country ballads that might work...Garth Brooks "The Dance" or "If Tomorrow Never Comes" maybe

I don't think I'd want to see "Boot Scootin' Boogie" on the field though!
