Morgoth Bauglir
Well I want to see Scouts 1975, BD 1976, Scouts 1981, Garfield 83-85, BD 1986, Garfield 1987, SCV 88/89, Phantom 1989, Star 1990, Cavies 1990, Cadets 1992-1993, Star 1993, Phantom 1993, Cadets 95-98, Scouts 95-99, Phantom 96, and SCV 99-00 live, but I'll deal. Word. There are tons of show I would have loved to see live. My first show was in 2001. Seeing BD 96, Scouts 95, or dare I say, Cavies 2000, live would be beyond amazing. But I never will. I'm not going to demand that Cavies perform their 2000 show again(no puns please) just to satisfy me.

weedyweidenthal
I continue to find it rather odd that someone who proports to be a teenager continually pines for a style/type of drum corps that existed before he was born. Ok I agree that the first post of this thread was a little pointless, but I disagree with this statement. I would love for drum corps to go back to playing more old school stuff and I'm 16. I would love to see/hear Scouts play Slaughter and I think that the staff they have in place is great. I've talked to some Scouts alumni that admitted that they had their doubts at first, but once they met the people they are really excited about what is being done with the organization. I would also love to hear Scouts to Strawberry Soup, Malaguena, Malaga, (of course I'm not talking all these songs in the same year). I think it would be really cool if Scouts did a "classic" once in a while and the rest of the show be new stuff in the same style. The thing I find ironic is the quote in hrothgar15's signature and the Cadets sign in hte profile picture go under the same name. -Weedy

madalumni
I wish we could have played Strawberry Soup with the Reunion Corps this past summer. But there's only so much you can do in one show. From everything I've heard, the 2007 Scouts have a show that is very fresh, but retains a definate Madison vibe. Again, I can't wait to see and hear Kashmir! Still, someday I would like to see them play "Ding-Dong, the Witch is dead!" just for old time's sake. :P

We need more gospel in drum corps today! That piece was AMAZING.
