tnmaiello
Good luck to the Raiders for their upcoming tour and trip to Pasadena, CA! Bring home ANOTHER DCI Championship!!! Thanks for your vote of confidence George! We are looking forward to our new challenge in Div 2. We will be marching 80 members and will be one of the smaller div 2 corps. The show is fan friendly and programmed to highlight the talent on the field. I am sure it will be well received by the judges too. Stop by rehearsal to see the corps. I am sure we will see you in Clifton at the Cabs show on 7/14.

canonrt
Where are the TOS corps rehearsing when they get to Bayonne? The weather report for Bayonne on Saturday is mostly sunny, highs in the upper 70's, followed by heavy entertainment ending with extreme HYPE! Chance of fun through out the evening ending in food, drinks & stories of the DC kind centered at 9th Street! Be there or just hear about it! Chance of fun through out the evening ending in food, drinks & stories of the DC kind centered at 9th Street! Be there or just hear about it! And, this year... Commander Glen Flora, and his VFW Post are well-prepared for the huge influx of TOS marchers from ALL corps, and spectators that will be converging upon the post, located a few doors in from Broadway, on 9th Street. From the stadium, head east on any street toward Broadway, and turn right. Proceed down to 9th Street, and turn right again. Joyce-Herbert Post is on the left side, about 3 doors down. Glen and his staff have taken steps to create a very enjoyable, and accommodating atmosphere for all that choose to attend! THERE WILL BE ZITI & MEATBALLS, and PIZZA... (A SMALL DONATION FOR THE POST IS SUGGESTED.) AND... BEER... WINE...JOHN YURKIN'S WORLD-FAMOUS SANGRIA...ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES...and SODA!!! (All available at a small cost). We now have TWO bars from which to serve, thanks to the labors of our very own soprano soloist, ROB HUNTER! SOME ENTERTAINMENT IS ALSO PLANNED! PLEASE JOIN US FOR A POST-TOURNAMENT OF STARS CELEBRATION, AS WE ASSEMBLE TOGETHER IN THE SPIRIT OF DRUM CORPS, AND DRUM CORPS BROTHERHOOD! A GOOD TIME WILL BE HAD BY ALL, AND YOU WILL BE HELPING TO SUPPORT THE WONDERFUL JOYCE-HERBERT VFW POST #226, THAT HAS BEEN SO INCREDIBLY SUPPORTIVE OF THE BRIDGEMEN!!!!!! Looking forward to celebrating with many of you, after all of the wonderful performances put forth at the TOURNAMENT OF STARS!!! ^OO^ ...JIM JORDAN Edited June 20, 2007 by overthehillDM

Dennis Argul
The celebration doesn't have to end once Tournament of Stars (TOS) is over on June 23rd.The Arts Factory in Bayonne, NJ is hosting a Post-TOS show party at their music club! The club is the brainchild of Bayonne's own Dennis Argul, a well-known commodity in Bridgemen and Bushwackers lore. Plus Dennis is the brass arranger of the Caballeros. So you can expect to see corps jackets from all over the Northeast! The Arts Factory has booked a band called "Quinntessence" which is led by Bayonne trumpet player Alan Quinn. This band has four trumpets and a rhythm section. They do a host of Maynard Ferguson and Chase, that any drum corps fan will absolutely LOVE! This party starts at 11pm and is open to anyone, of any age. Guests over 21 get a wristband for drinking privileges. A reasonable $10 cover gets you inside to enjoy the music and to mingle with friends. There's a 250-person capacity in the space, so seats will go FAST. Go to arts-factory.com to check it out and/or buy tickets in advance! The Arts Factory 280 Avenue E (corner of 23rd Street and Avenue E) 201-436-6700 See you there! Sunrisers will be at 16th street park and Sac will be practing behind the school near the water after 3. Everyone else is out of town practing. As for your comment about Heavy Entertainment, you are so right. 10 corps that will give the audience their monies worth!!!!!!! Hype!
