The Bridgemen & the entire Drum Corps Community has lost one of the finest most dedicated members I have ever had the privilege to know. Dan was an inspiration to young & old, rookie or veteran of drum corps. He was so proud to be a Bridgemen as the Bridgemen was so proud he was. He followed a snow plow from Canada during a blizzard just to make a Bridgemen Camp! If it was a show, camp, parade or a rehearsal on a black top in the middle of July, Dan was there with a smile, story & complete dedication void of any negativity! I once saw Dan polishing his horn just prior to a drill rehearsal, I asked him if he always does that, he said "Yes, but just so far, so I don't look like a rookie!" The man never had a bad word for anybody or anything! A Historian, Participant & Fan of Drum Corps Extraordinaire! Dan, you will be missed to say the least! May the HYPE be with you as you rest in peace & as you always said, "HYPE.....it's a Bridgemen thing.

BRIDGEMEN Hall of Fame Dinner And Memorial Mass The Bridgemen Hall of Fame Committee, under the direction of the Bridgemen Alumni Association, is proud to announce the 2009 Inaugural Year inductees to the Bridgemen Hall of Fame. This year’s inductees are James Brady, Msgr. Joseph Donovan, Patrick Forker, Bobby Hoffman, Edward Holmes, Bob & Carol Holton, James Jordan, Barbara Kolodziej, George Lavelle, Jr., and Jerry Morecraft. A buffet dinner in their honor will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 7:30 PM at St. Andrew’s School gym. Tickets prices are $30.00 per person. The ticket price will include a buffet dinner, beer, wine, and soft drinks. Tickets can be purchased individually or for tables of 10. Tickets can be purchased by sending an email to kendono@verizon.net or fivek32@aol.com, or by sending a check or money order (payable to “Bridgemen Alumni Association”) to: Bridgemen Alumni Association – HOF Tickets P.O.
