rai-mello
1)Phantom 2)Cadets 3)Cavaliers 4)SCV 5)Bluecoats 6) 7)Troopers 8)Madison 9)Glassmen 10) 11)Crossmen 12)Colts 13)Spirit 14) The spots I left empty, I can't really make any decision. and for the top five, I believe Blucoats will be higher but I can't choose between them, SCV, and Cavaliers. The Cadets placement was a bit more than I really think, but, eh.
crashhelmi36
1. SCV- ! This could be vintage Santa Clara. I'm thinking 97-04 all over again. And the closer is fun to play. :) 2. Madison- Unbound - It should be interesting how they bounce back. 3. Bluecoats- Criminal - Sounds quite "cool," reminds me of Bloo 2001-2003. 4. Phantom Regiment- On Air - Phantom + Firebird = 5. Glassmen - Gitano - Sounds very like the G-men late 90s/early 00s. I'm intrigued. 6. The Cavaliers- The Music of an American Idol- Billy Joel I'm interested to see what they do with this. It could either be like 2004 (awesome) or like 2005 (ehh). 7. The Cadets- This I Believe. Truth, Value and the Personal Experience Called Drum Corps I'm not fond of the concept idea, but the music should be great. 8. Troopers- Awakening - What they do for their "resurrection" should be great. 9. Mandarins- Dragon Dance - This is something they could do a lot on. 10. Colts- Equinox - Bartok and Webber can be a very nice match. 11. Crossmen- Metamorphosis - I don't know a whole lot about this yet. 12. Spirit- Genesis - Music sounds cool so far, but we'll have to see. 13. Pacific Crest- What happens in Vegas - Way too many bands down here in So Cal have done a Vegas show in the past couple years. So, ehh... 14. Pioneer- Fields of Green - Well, they've gotten pretty good at doing Irish music, at least. I think I misunderstood the OP... This is my ranking of which show concepts I'm looking forward to the most, not who I think is going to win. Sorry. :) Edited February 4, 2007 by crashhelmi36

raphael18
:) Most of these groups haven't even committed to what songs they're playing. Edited February 4, 2007 by raphael18

Maestro1
1. Blue Devils - keeping secretive so far 2. Bluecoats - even after announcing show, keeping very quiet...big plans? 3. Cadets - will be stronger again after a disappointing season last year 4. Phantom - more of the same...very good, but season #2 of similar style 5. Santa Clara - make a surge...ready for west coast championships 6. Cavies - loose stride with Billy Joel...especially after last year's GE package 7. Crown - another strong showing...much improved drumline 8. Blue Knights - loose the edge this year to crown 9. Spirit - new show concept jumps them up in placement 10. Glassmen - make another run after a great season last year 11. Boston - lose a step after an o.k. battle last year 12. Madison - if they're lucky, will battle for last place...many challengers! 13. Colts - will challenge again for 12 14. Troopers - welcome back...almost make the top 12 shy by 1-2 points 15. Mandarins - another strong season...show concept we've seen before 16. Crossmen - young corps, may take a while to rebound from move Good Luck to all, and may everyone have a banner year!
