Reasons why drum corps kicks butt

Recommended Posts

I'm with you guys. Watching Phantom's hornline for the past hour made me forget about my cold. Phantom's hornline = endorphins.

How about everytime you smell diesel exhaust - and the memories come back.

Or

how you aways look at busses and semis when they pass to see if they are from a corps

or

When you're going to a show and you can hear the drums from really far away, and as you get closser you can hear the hornlines, and you see the members going about their business, and the crowd of like minded fans.

That wall of brass sound along with driving percussion and finally, visual effects that cannot be described with words!

Sleeping in positions you never thought you could sleep in before.

Feeling the rush of adrenaline hit you at the end of marching your show. It never hit me until the end, or at least I didn't realize it. But everytime we got to the last note, I felt invincible.

It is the only place where throwing babies is appropriate. :P

Honestly though, if you are on these forums, you know that it escapes words...for me it does anyway.
