  1. Umm...I thought the whole point of OP was to challenge the men's decision to dress femininely?
  2. I think it is a great idea, but what would the title be? How about: Classic Countdown: The Lost Corps
  3. Worth the $8.50 if for the alumni corps alone I missed that show at finals, so I was really glad they did this.
  4. edit: this makes less sense after a nap. removed for sheer dumbness factor
  5. Still working fine for me. Maybe they had to take the site down for maitenance. And (somewhat) on topic, we've been doing awkward *fill in the blank* for a while where I live. There is awkward cow (you milk it) and even an awkward Jesus (which is basically the most sacrilegious thing I've ever seen). Long live the akwardness
  6. Back on subject, I had this discussion at a few different shows with some people around me. General consensus was that Cadet's were marching and playing the most, with BD in second. Let's see some times!
  7. From their newsletter. Definitely thought it was cool stuff in their show, seems pretty useful.
  8. Exactly! If everyone could have the sense of humor the Cadet's have after putting up with all the crap, then the world would be a better place. Just relax people! I'm fairly certain that Hops doesn't wake up with a sign on his mirror reminding him to tick people off every day. :P
  9. Clarification: It was Mrs. America... By a strange coincidence, the hotel where I was (and the judges were, too) had the Ms. Teen USA contest going on at this time, too.
  10. On the other hand, some of the noobs around me who were watching greatly appreciated it. True, the majority of us know what a melody is, but I think the concept was especially nice for people just getting into drum corps. My $.02.
  11. Hardest show. Loudest show. (I was about 10 rows back and just about lost my hearing) Best show. Go. Cadets.
  12. I've been to Classic Countdown twice, and I've saw Quarter-Finals last year. The theater I was at started off at a low volume, but someone asked for it to be raised, and then it was amazing :P The video quality was great. There are the little problems that come with it being live, and sometimes they cut to stuff that is pointless, but mostly it is great. At any rate, I'd say spend the money!
  13. hooray for advertising money!!! The next fundraising campaign: Clicks for the Cadet's.
  14. Firefox is the way of the future my friend.
  15. News sounds good for our East Coasters. And just so you guys know, top secret sources say that it is a combination of horses and speaking. That's right, lets welcome Mr. Ed to the field! :P
  16. Am I the only one who hears "And I'm leaving, on a jet plane..." everytime someone says "all my bags are packed"?
  17. 10$ to the first person to show up on that camera nude in front of the sign. ...if only I had $10...
  18. Maybe this doesn't count, but the Canadian Brass could blow some eardrums...
  19. GO VK!!! That makes me happy! I'm looking forward to some greatness.
  20. In reply to the original poster, I would imagine with a little technical know-how you could work something out. Get a snare drum sound, or a moo or something.
  21. Haha, looking at that first picture where it is clipped on the guys help, I can't help but think brain cancer. :P I mean, I know it isn't really a possibility, but sometimes I think about it... On the plus side you could convince people it made a forcefield around your head to protect you from aliens and minor skateboarding accidents. Or that it improved your memory capacity for drill by 20% percent.
  22. Slightly off subject, but how many of you would buy a satellite radio if they had a Drum Corps station? I'd definitely be willing to spend my money for one. CD don't go everwhere. iPod only has the stuff you actually own. A radio station would be great. They might already, I'm just not aware of one.
