DAvery
The Kingsmen and VK were both from the city of Anaheim in Orange County. Their corps halls were across the street from each other. I guess that means they were from the same county then!

LancerLegend
"...Whose guard had huge sabers? I thought 27th had huge sabres"27th had pom-pons. I didn't want to mention it for fear of a LancerFi beatdown. :sshh: In 77, we had sabres (Stewie's Angels) and rifles to compliment the flag line. I think it was the sabres in 77 that did the pom-pom thing during "Can Can", but with no sabres in 1978, I think the rifle line did it. My memory is creeping up on me...I need to pull out my 30 year old program books to confirm As for unis, in 1977, our drumline wore the kakhi shirts during prelims of several shows, but wore the white jackets at finals of the same shows only. In 1878, they wore the white jacket only.
