TomMoore
Jeff: I remember your excellent travelogue about your Pittsburgh Rockets reunion and your trip to DCA Championships in 2005, if I recall correctly. I enjoyed it and appreciated your kind words about our show that year. This year's off to a great start -- hopefully you can make it to Rochester and stop by for a visit! drumnman2004
The Reading Buccaneers are pleased to offer for your viewing and listening pleasure a brief video highlighting the early stages of this year's 50th Anniversary production, BLUE ERA. The footage was filmed at the corps' mini-camp on Sunday, February 18 and depicts portions of full-ensemble runs of New Era Dance and Rhapsody in Blue. Click on the image below to catch a glimpse. Enjoy! Very Cool !!
crudirect1
Very Nice Bucs! One of my favorite pieces of music. Good Luck
TomMoore
Glad you liked it. I wish we had some footage of The Promise of Living to include in the video. It's turning into my favorite chart of the show and I think will give Adagio for Strings a run for its money in terms of its emotional impact. My hats off to Mr. Copland for that tune. Simply marvelous!

Tom: Aside from the Rockets (for obvious reasons), the Bucs have always been my "other" favorite senior corps since first seeing them in '72. To see them win in 2005 was AWESOME, especially since I didn't get that opportunity in 79 or 80. At this time, I'm just building up frequent flyer miles, and since DCI is in my backyard this year, I might be able to justify (to the wife) the trip east. The only thing getting in the way, marching KAC takes a lot of time away from the fam, especially when we get to August. "Ground Breaking" and "Trend Setting" are right next to the word Coward in the dictionary. What have YOU done lately? TomMoore
Please allow me to state unequivocally, as the originator of this thread, that the only adjectives I used to describe the video were "brief," "early," "mini-" and "full-ensemble." :P
