GGarrett
Had my name and a fluer-de-lis engraved on my iPod... that way I always know it's mine. Won't deter someone stealing it if they want to take it, but atleast i've done what I can. Just a suggestion...
ravedodger
In my case, a whole bunch of CD's that I converted over. These days, though, Season Pass is a good way to go, or you can sometimes find the CD's on eBay for a lot less than you can buy individual shows.Mike This is very true. Right around Christmas, I gifted myself with a great eBay win. I bought the original Collector's Series of CD's 1972-1991 (top 12 only) and the complete CD sets 1993 through 2006 with a number of individual corps CD's thrown in. All this for $325 +shipping. You're lucky, Mike. I'm still waiting for an iPod. I kept hinting before Christmas and then for my birthday last month. I'm hoping I'll get the 40G'er. I'm not as picky as you. Though I know you have many more recordings than I, I want to be able to get all my stuff on one player. BTW, I rip all my CD's at 320k--making for some very large files, but at least the audience applaus doesn't sound like frying eggs. :P Edited March 9, 2007 by ravedodger
MGCpimpOtimp
Dude, get a Creative M Vision. It's the hidden gem in the world of the iPod cult. Truth!! I have one, and love it!
ravedodger
What are some of your essentials for listening?Mike Renegades 2001 minicorps--One More Time PR 06 Live AT Sinn.--Canon (the one I bought from you). :P Though not drum corps per se, I also suggest the BD Alumni & Friends Horn Septet/Octet charts that are arranged corps style. They are by far the most worth while charts on the CD. Pegasus La Fiesta One More Time My Spanish Heart For complete shows I would use 93 and 95 BD--you just can't clip a single chart out of those shows. ravedodger
Was it in 77 that Bmen did Pagliacci? That is a great chart for clipping. Add to that their version of In the Stone (81 & 82?).

Oooh, I'll take the '97 Bones version of that tune any day. But yeah, there are whole sections of the original that have rarely ever been used in drum corps that would be terrific!
