Now that we know the drum corps kids who attend VT are ok, I suggest this thread be closed.

Otherwise...I'll get all emotional and into my gun (and bullet) control self and this thread would volley into stupidity.

I realize that would not do justice to those who were killed today.

Be in Peace. Hug your kids. Call a friend...just to see how they are.

Out

Save that for another thread... This is for making sure people are ok...

One of the members of Teal Sound lives in the dorm that the first 2 people were shot . She is ok but knew the R.A. that died , he was a bari player in the VT Marching band.

My heart goes out to the families and loved ones. Please remember that even today, you are not alone and those who care continue to share the sorrow of your loss.

May God Bless you all!

I'm glad that nobody has gotten political in this thread about gun control and the like.

When I heard about this the only thing I could really do was just let those closest to me know that I loved them, even though they don't go to VA Tech.

You all have probably done this, but if you haven't, tell your friends and loved ones that you love them. My pastor once told me that a little bit of love goes a long, long way.
