Galen
Horkstow would be a GREAT piece for Pioneer or Kilts to do.
bigbadjosh89
I really like the movement "The Lord Melbourne" and think that it could translate to the field well.

fourouttheforty
Yeah, someone needs to do Horkstow Grange... but the rest of that piece is sooooooooo thick, I don't think it'd translate well to the field.
luvs me sum mello!
Great info...except it is totally irrelevant to the OP. She was asking about Lincolnshire Posy, and none of those pieces are from that suite. And so the guy (utamello) provided a list of all Grainger works performed in DC history (in junior corps at least). And, if you read the post, you'll see a mvt. from Lincolnshire Posy WAS performed. So I feel the list is completely relevant to this forum. It answers the question and the answer was yes....once. Edited May 30, 2007 by luvs me sum mello! Xmen89
A fine version of "Lincolnshire Posey" was performed by the West Genesee (NY) High School marching band in 1982 and 1983. Audio of those shows are available (streaming) online at: http://www.wgwildcats.com/Music_Files/WG1982LG.mp3 http://www.wgwildcats.com/Music_Files/WG1983LG.mp3
pegasus
I also just found this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4k1EFdXBWhE "Beyond Perimeters" Ronald Reagan High School Band 2003 2003 Grand Nationals Finals 2nd Place Overall Featuring Slavyanskaya, Jupiter, Bolero, Malaguena, Lincolnshire Posy, and original music by Aaron Guidry. tommytimp
Corpsreps is great, but is occasionally, like IMDB, incomplete. Avant Garde played Lisbon Bay OTL in 1976. They can only go on what information they receive. Edited May 30, 2007 by tommytimp
