I'm speechless, here I am thinking nothing happens in my town, but in all actuality its steeped in drum corps history.

How about scores from Hammondsport, NY 1976 and the NT Open 1976 A class and Open class.

I don't have anything for Hammondsport in '76. Could it be listed under a different city?

The only N. Tonawanda scores I have for that year are:

Actually we won a few that year. We won in Hammondsport and beat Imperial Regiment. We went to London, Ontario and took third or second but I remember we took 2nd in brass to, I think, Flying Dutchmen.

I remember there was a big article in either DCW or DCNews that we won. BTW, Krescendos had beaten us big time earlier in the year.

I don't have anything for Hammondsport in '76. Could it be listed under a different city?

I have only 2 memories of the open. 1972, I was 12 years old and my first year with Garfield. We stayed at a school near a Bucyrus (sp) crane factory. We started rehearsal and all of a sudden we started getting attacked by these deer flies. They were a pain.

The second was waiting to go on the field . Blessed Sac was on the field playing Bacchus. I really thought the was a cool closer
