redcorpsfan
I want to put together some videos and audio tracks to introduce a young family member (teenager) to drum corps. What shows would you recommend I include to get them hooked?

Huntington Mallets
Cavies 02 - "Fight Club" segment Crown 06- the groove section at around 8-9 minutes into the show Cadets 03- Malaguena Cadets 00- Drum Break I'll think of more in a bit....but these few things are what I think a teenager would enjoy Oh and full shows......... Cavies 06, 04, 95 Blue Devils 03 Madison 95 or 96 Vanguard 04 Those are some easily accessible shows from my point of view Edited June 22, 2007 by Huntington Mallets

redcorpsfan
What kind of music do they like? All kinds. Their high school band is doing Miss Saigon so I want to send my 1991 vhs of Santa Clara. But I would like to find examples of great drill and great music. rai-mello
Madison 95 is a great pick. Lots of sound and excitement definitely appeals to people. Along the same lines, I think he might enjoy Phantom 03. It might not be the best show, but it's definitely got excitement in it, IMO. If possible, do SCV 89. Lots of people know Phantom of the Opera, so that'll definitely hit home.
