OMH
In fact, the battery (TEAL) looks like DCI's version of the Reading Buccaneers in style and flavor. Thanks kinda strange, though. Doesn't the same guy write the battery book for both Bucs and Surf? You'd think Surf would sound more like Bucs. I'll see the show on Saturday. Kamarag
Thanks kinda strange, though. Doesn't the same guy write the battery book for both Bucs and Surf? You'd think Surf would sound more like Bucs. I'll see the show on Saturday. Yes, Rich Hammond does indeed write for both, but both books are distinctly different. Teal's caption head, Terrell Smith, was on staff at Bucs the last few years and had imparted the "take no prisoners" look and feel on Teal Sound's battery. While T's writing is original, the attitude he's instilled there is not, and that's a very good thing indeed. I was pleasantly surprised. milestogo
Thanks for mentioning the Colt Cadets! The Corps is working hard this year to shed its "cute", "baby-corp" image.
noneofyourbusiness
Thanks for mentioning the Colt Cadets! The Corps is working hard this year to shed its "cute", "baby-corp" image. I have seen the Colt Cadets a couple of times this year and they truly have stepped up their program. They are a real pleasure to watch .
