NanciD
Hmmmm ... would this guy need a passport to get into the US for a show? :-) nope.. BTW, this is a Tribute feature! Edited April 26, 2012 by NanciD
gsksun4
nope.. BTW, this is a Tribute feature! Funny, when you said that I immediately thought of someone from Shelton, CT. But it can’t be him. I don’t believe they ever had uniform tops like that. Or maybe they did? If that picture is real Old? gsksun4
Pic is from 1958 Pretty much what I thought, late 50's, but this is a tough one. I still think upstate NY when I see that type of hat, but there's always the possibility that hat spilled over into the Berkshire Mts. But back to tribute, I did think of Shelton because he's a guard guy. Edited April 26, 2012 by gsksun4

But back to tribute, I did think of Shelton because he's a guard guy. When I marched in a Shelton Corps (1974) I was a "Guard person" but this is what we wore... (We put the sides of our hats down so we weren't knocking it off all the time. The Corps proper wore theirs with the sides up.)
Fran Haring
Pic is from 1958 Well... since I was born in 1958, I'm ruling myself out here.
Andyroo
Well... since I was born in 1958, I'm ruling myself out here. That's the problem with this thread... These young whippersnappers come on here who don't know how it was back when men were men (and women were in the color guard).
