N.E. Brigand
Does anyone know why the Erie Thunderbirds are rehearsing downtown right now? I could hear the sounds of "Under Pressure" and "Somebody to Love" wafting into my hotel room across the river.
N.E. Brigand
I try to make a practice of counting the membership of each corps when I'm at a show; I did so yesterday but will note the figures here, since the Prelims thread is winding down. In order of yesterday's appearance: Class A Excelsior: 2/1/4/0b + 10h + 8p + 10g = 35 Erie Thunderbirds: 4/1/5/0b + 10h + 7p + 10g = 37 Cincinnati Tradition: 5/2/5/0b + 14h + 6p + 10g = 42 Chops, Inc.: 6/2/5/0b + 12h + 12p + 2g = 39 Kilties: 3/2/4/0b + 23h + 6p + 9g = 47 Alliance: 6/4/5/4b + 24h + 8p + 12g = 63 Govenaires: 8/2/5/0b + 24h + 7p + 16g = 60 Open Class Skyliners: 4/1/4/2b + 39h + 8p + 15g = 73* Bushwackers: 6/4/5/5b + 38h + 8p + 14g = 80 Connecticut Hurricanes: 5/3/4/3b + 28h + 9p + 21g = 73* Carolina Gold: 8/3/5/5b + 32h + 11p + 40g = 104 Sunrisers: 6/4/6/6b + 43h + 8p + 29g = 102 AtlantaCV: 8/5/5/0b + 50h + 16p + 32g = 116 White Sabers: 8/3/5/0b + 30h + 11p + 30h = 79* Kidsgrove Scouts: 6/4/5/0b + 57h + 13p + 31g +9?** = 124 Fusion Core: 9/5/6/5b + 52h + 13p + 39g = 124 Minnesota Brass: 10/5/5/5b + 48h + 13p + 28g = 114 Cadets2: 10/5/6/4b + 56h + 13p + 30g = 124 Caballeros: 9/5/5/0b + 64h + 14p + 30g = 127* Reading Buccaneers: 8/5/5/5b + 60h + 15p + 30g = 128* *I did not include honor guards in the counts above: Skyliners (6), Hurricanes (5), White Sabers (9), Caballeros (8), Buccaneers (6). Sometimes I feel that the longer it takes me to count up a corps' members, the better their show probably is. Did I miss anything or get a number wrong? Corrections welcome! **Kidsgrove Scouts' size corrected per Tom Peashey. (Edited much later to correct typo.) Edited April 20, 2016 by N.E. N.E. Brigand
My seat tonight is low and to the right: section 106, row F. I'll probably be the only person there wearing a black Legends tee shirt featuring a picture of a freighter (from their "Edmund Fitzgerald" show of 2012). Stop by and say hello! dpdc77
Question. Does the stadium take cards for the tickets and concessions?

I could hear the sounds of "Under Pressure" and "Somebody to Love" wafting into my hotel room across the river. I shared an elevator with one of their members about an hour later. They rehearsed because it's good practice, and because they have an exhibition appearance later this week.
JimF-LowBari
Cool for the TBirds..... last few times we were in Rochester we shared a hotel with White Sabers. Twice we caught the "final standstill" at the hotel parking lot after they missed Finals. Classy group as they didn't mind us watching (we asked) the corps members playing for each other one last time.
