  1. Never used them and you don't see them around much anymore, but from what I understand they're great for teaching kids how to catch solid to start out. Keep us posted if you pursue them!
  2. Great news! I've worked with both these wonderful people! Congrats!
  3. Forte '95 (the homeless show when the girl sang "Here's To Life" (from the year before) acapella. Not a dry eye.
  4. Bandshoppe used to have a great set of tye-dye flags in the "printed flags" section, but I don't see them now. You might find them used on theguardroom.com or guardcloset.com though
  5. http://www.wgi.org/news/09292010-Arrangeme...ty-Stetson.html
  6. Patty's husband Kevin posted about an hour ago that Patty is "in a much better place now - and the rain is still falling..." I'll post arrangements when they become available. The color guard world will miss Patty Stetson and we continue to pray for her husband and her son, Tim.
  7. I think we're going to close this. The e-mail address is listed if there is ANYONE out there who might be interested in such a position, but we're not going to allow this to turn into a race discussion. Thanks!
  8. For those of you who aren't on facebook, longtime color guard instructor Patty Stetson is currently fighting for her life. Her husband has asked for our prayers. Please join us in sending her our good wishes. We will keep everyone updated on here! Thanks!
  9. Because people change their minds perhaps?? Let's applaud Michael and be EXCITED to see Corona out there again instead of ripping them apart! I, for one, am excited - best of luck!
  10. That's BS if they're not allowed to compete because they only have 24 members. Anyone remember Mandarins and Academie Musicale when they were WINNING (then A-60 class) with less than 24 members??? Jeez, someone effed up with that rule!!!!
  11. Correct me if I am wrong (please!) but wasn't the 40 member thing proposed by Onyx - who (since their IO guard won WGI) would have 2 IW guards next year? Maybe now the plan is to combine Onyx and O2??? Just a thought!
  12. Let's stop feeding the fire about ALL groups! There are many spectulations floating around as to the identity of some of you anonymous posters (and I have MY suspicions as well) if a group has anything to tell us - THEY WILL! I really don't want to have to start closing threads over suspicion, so let's chill out a little! Thanks :)
  13. HA! I said TV Guide, but Avon catalog is probably better!
  14. The "WGI Program" if you wanna call it that was a joke. I'm supposed to put that with my collection that dates back to 1981??? No thanks - I passed on that one.
  15. I have the best memories of my 5 seasons with the Brigadiers and have looked forward to visiting over the last few years. I'll miss not being able to do that this year. Believe it or not, although the 2 championships stand out in my mind, the wonderful friendships, the top-notch instruction and the life-long memories are the main reasons that I LOVED being a Brigadier. I'll always "Be the B" and I know all my brothers and sisters (past and future) will be too. Hope "we" can make it back out again soon!
  16. It is definitely you because Sac looks NOTHING like SCV '09!
  17. I am SO SORRY that this happened to you and that it was partially on behalf of CGP. To the Mom who suggested that she had a problem with images of her child being owned - it may just take an onslaught of e-mails or phone call to WGI to resolve that! It's unfortunate - they're still images that don't REALLY give anything away about the program (just a little hint!) Thanks for all the great reviews and I too hope they continue (look me up in Dayton!)
  18. Topic closed. Once it gets personal and accusations are thrown around then yes, I AM sucking the fun out of this post!
  19. Thanks! They're not "my guard" anymore, but I will pass along the good thoughts!
