Where/when did you attend college?

They are playing canon parts. Neither side is playing the same part. The only way to hear it the way it is intended is to be in front of it. If you are sitting on the 35, it will sound really off.

I think they'll be ok. There is a lot of time left. They are solid top 5.

Cadets 85.9 Bloo 85.15 Crown 84.65

Scores are about right, but thought 1st and 2nd would be closer. There's still plenty of time.

It's not necessary to try to blow out someone else's candle to make yours burn brighter. Son, I have shoes older than you. Isn't it past your bedtime? :)

...in an attempt to discredit something so close in scoring to their own corps. It's all good.

Cadets fans are going to say they like the old Bluecoat ending more. Big surprise.

Phantom's GE1 score though...

Nah. It screams "TEXAS" to me.

Because it was overdone in the 80s and 90s by drum corps. -
Sampled Old with New? Virtual duets with alumni?
Elmo Blatch replied to dannyboy's topic in DCI World Class Corps Discussions
This is a great idea, or at least it could be. However, there are three inherent and ginormous problems: 1. Getting the alumni (many of which haven't played in years) to match the performance level would be incredibly tough. 2. Unless one guy in the percussion is in the "pit" with a headset playing to the original and laying down the tempo, it isn't going to stay together. 3. And this is the most important. Matching the tone color and pitch of a current B-flat instrument (or F for our current mellophone players) to the long ago bugle lines in G? Well, good luck with that. -
Bloo Bangers. One of the best drumline lot videos I've seen. Love it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-MR50cBt_CA

Maybe judges will take into account BAC's anniversary, give them a higher score at the next event, and put them back in the Top 12. Their fans are really pulling for them.

That sounds pretty good.

I think Troopers have a great music book this year. It's a very refreshing course in music direction for the corps. How will they end up? Who knows? I know folks are saying the sky is falling in Boston but that's not true. I think Crusaders can get back into the Top 12.

San Antonio could be quite interesting from 17th to 1st.
