Fish if you were 30 years younger, you'd still be too old. -
Happy birthday Red.

Hawthorne Caballeros - 08.28.10 & 08.29.10

Also CT Alumni, Bridgemen Alumni and Skyliners Alumni with Park City Pride closing the show. Joining Bush, Cabs and Hurricanes will be the first US appearance of the 2009 United Kingdom Champion Kidsgrove Scouts. A great lineup with all the competing corps at their best. And the weather is going to be beautiful. -
Something else to consider, not appearing in finals would cost a share point fpr DCA money.

What would you say if you had the chance?
Skyking replied to rayfallon's topic in DCA - All-Age Corps Discussions
Thanks Ray, even if you did inflict "Sgt Pepper" on us. Seeya on the 24th. Charlie PS Ask me about Hank Greenberg and Ed Kranepool. -

Skyking replied to Skyking's topic in DCA All-Age Corps and Alumni Corps Historical Forum
Good catch, I think we did Johnstown in those years. I do remember going past a race track to get to the stadium. Someone has to know. I think Rochester Crusaders and Phoenix were in the show. Charlie -

Gloversville N.Y. DCA show
Skyking replied to Skyking's topic in DCA All-Age Corps and Alumni Corps Historical Forum
Thanks for the info but Iknow it wasn't 79. The only info I have on it was that the Hurricanes won the show. It might have been RCA but I doubt it. Charlie -
(All in good fun) My prediction
Skyking replied to HurcsGuyGD.'s topic in DCA - All-Age Corps Discussions
The Hurricanes were declared Open class and judged that way. -
Every show the Hurricanes have won in the last two years they have also won the best honor guard and the best color guard. I don't have any statistics but I can guess the Cabs and Jim Russo, the Skyliners and Butch Anderson, not to leave out the Buccaneers and George Parks have won a show and drum major on the same night.

What are you implying?

What Stormiehurc is too modest to mention is that she and her husband donated three of the trophies. The whole Hurricane family thanks you very much for your generosity. The Hurricanes are happy to recognize some of the people in our activity that rarely get the respect they deserve.

If you can't get enough of the Bridgemen you can see them at the Hurricanes home show August 29 in Bridgeport CT.

New Haven is still in New Haven. The Hurricanes show has been in WEST Haven for a number of years not New Haven. Now I'm getting confused.
