1982- Bayonne Show. Friend of my Mom's was driving BD's staff bus that year. (She grew up in Convord) Invited us to the show. Iwas in awe at 10 years old. Told my Mom I was gonna do that when I grew up. (I was 10 and didn't play anything so evrybody kinda shrugged it off) Wound up marching Surf in 1991 (founding mamber) and Crossmen in 92 & 93. Then taught Surf 94-99 where I met my wife. I always tell Bill (Bus driver) if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be where I am today. Maried with two great kids and a Band Director.

Hey don't forget about the new kids on the WC block here in Jersey as you're looking at corps. Go Surf!!!

C'mon!! Johhnyboy knows all about stuffing way too many people in to a bus after a break down!!! Or for that matter way too many of us in one van for long drives between shows and housing sites. How many did we used to sleep in Bob's van.... I mean staff bus! LOL

Going to my first show and hanging out "backstage" at the 82 Bridgemen home show. Friend of my Mom's drove staff bus for BD that year, Told my Mom I was doing that when i got older. (I was 10 and didn't play anything yet) Fast forward 10 years to inalt retreat in 92- playing Under the Sun- EMOTIONAL to say the least.

93 Crossmen followed closely by 82 Bridgemen.
