oh sure... crown and hnc should just give up now and bd can just SIT back and rest on there laurels if that's something to sit on.

and what is it that these judges see in bd's show that gives them such a ig lead...i saw it, the crowd saw it...seemed like cadets and crown received a bigger response....where's the demand in that show....they played sparingly and marched sparingly...does demand count for nothing.

were these the same judges at quarter finals????

i'm just curious being a realtive newcomer. do the judges at finals have corp affiliations past or present and do you think that affects the scoring????

i was composing a similar reply as i was reading the thread but could not have explained or stated it better. that is exactly the way i see the experience for my son. an extension of his education. since participating in corps, without any help or pushing , he enrolled himself in college, got a job and has a defined career path. this makes me extremly proud. it's worth every cent to see him follow his dream.

this is from someone not familiar with dci procedures but if 2 or 3 corps tie for the 12th spot do they all get into finals? what happens to them if 2 corps say tie for 6th. are they then eliminated since with 2 6th's the corps in the final will be 12???

what division are you and do you have places for members to live if they're from out of state?

i don't remember the name of the company but there was one that either made that type pedal or had the concept for one. i think i read about it in one of the drum mags so maybe you could contact them for starters. sounds like an interesting concept.

i'm not sure but didn't crossmen/cadets have an audition camp in tx. when the crossmen were in nj. will they have an audition camp in nj now that the crossmen are in tx?? it would save potential members from the east coast some travel money.

SPARTANS after you cut through all the hype they performed an excellant show and imo should have scored higher. ACADEMY lived up to the hype and deserved it.

i wasn't there but could someone tell me what happened to spartans that caused the 93.6???

i couldn't believe it....we ordered the pass with the intentions of watching the stream of the Spartans(son marches with them0...and the rest of the corps. all was fine until Spartans. the previous corps had on field coverage the Academy finished with on field coverage BUT the Spartans only had that rear camera view for the entire performance. anyone else have that problem??? other than that the streaming was alright.
