  1. 1984- with you I'm born again was not Garfield, it was the Freelancers.
  2. Lee you are such a jerk, I teach one of the drum lines and I don't see any pics of me warmng up the line. Warm ups are a big part of the day, we spend more time warming up than we do on the field. Maybe next year you should show more of the lot!
  3. You took time off last year so now get to the next camp #### It!
  4. We should have 19 snare drums and 9 tenors to play on. We can't jam early because of bingo but there will be plenty of time to jam. Yes we will be on kevlar.
  5. Hey Kelley, will you be at the next one? hint hint
  6. This is going to be a great line kelley. Will you be there????????
  7. It is about a RCR come back Billy. The corps will not be back next year but that kick ### drumline will be. It's just that we will be............ BACK IN BLACK!The Renegades are not the ones who started the Renegade talk, that was me.Lee, I have been talking to many of the boys and as of right now you should have at least 6 snares from RCR past and I'm working on a couple of tenors now.Give me a couple of weeks and I'll start hitting the bass trail. Also I might have 3 very good mallet players checking it out.
  8. Well Paul, you were one of the three b**bs and Adam and the skirt.I talked to Paul V. and he might check it out as well. And Chris, I was thinking about stopping by, you never know.
  9. Hey Lee, I know of three from the drum line will be checking it out.
  10. Wow Alisha, I have been teaching High Schools and corps in the Sac. area for over 20 years and did not know that.I always got my checks and even a bonus here and there, what schools and corps did you teach?
  11. You know Paul I have always been evil, just ask anyone that knows me.Many of the Renegades would look saint like compared to me. ^0^ Right Kelli
  12. I don't want to fuel a fire, but what happened with RCR? I now live in Sac and was going to join RCR next year that's only a hour and a half away from becoming evil ^0^ Tha's right, RCR is gone and it is time to move on. The problem was that from day one they NEVER figured out how to make money and even though it would be cool to start a drum corps, you need MONEY! Some people won't agree with me but if they would have had money, there would be no problems and the corps would be around. It's like most corps that fold, dreams are bigger than their bank account.
  13. I have nothing to do next summer Paul, how about you? b**bs
  14. A Cym. line would be great but you should first work on the snare line, tenor line and bass line. I know there were some pretty good drummers in the Sac. area that have nothing to do now as well as some great staff people. It's like any sports team, you don't produce the results you must make major changes. ^0^ ^0^ ^0^ ^0^ ^0^ ^0^ ^0^
  15. Just thought I would add that Jason Mackenroth is now a member of The Blue Man Group and I still like kissing Kelli.
  16. 1. Kissing Kelli at every show after she turned Evil 2. Toilet Paper and the party it happened at 3. Hanging out with some cool cats and some of the best drummers I had marched with in the 80's including Vic Firth and Tama artist Jason Mackenroth from the Henry Rollins Band. 4. Kissing Kelli
  17. Who is trying to compare?I'm saying it's never okay to quit 5 days before the first show.It doesn't matter if your mad at management, it let everyone down in the line. So much so that the drum line was ready to quit and fold the corps before they ever got on the field.Thank god my right hand man filled in so we could have a season.I have let go of my anger but I will never forget.
  18. Sorry Brian, we don't understand and don't tell people that have marched drum corps in a bass line that it's okay to quit 5 days before the first show.
  19. Glenn, I'm not sure who you are talking about but if you are talking about Doug, he was very welcomed into the drum line. He was having a great time playing all the aux. percussion until he had to quit because of health problems. We always took care of any interested members of the line.
  20. Hey Dave, I don't think we have any recordings from 95. We never made it to a first camp that season so I don't think we even started any music.
  21. Well Kelli, if we do end up going to finals together we wont stop for spit pea soup.We might have to stop at Harris Ranch for some kick ### clam chowder.Rich, Life as a RCR bass drummer would be great, yesterday the snare line was amazing. It looks like we got all four back from last year and have added S'Tera(marched 2 years in the Freelancer winter snare line) and the one and only Paul Marr.
