  1. This was buried in another thread...thought it was worthy of its own discussion
  2. since this is a pre-show....would it be legal to have the "real" bones show up and be the center "character"? Then he can disappear off the back sidelines.
  3. These are only used in the pre-show? Very cool...just from the pictures i got goose bumps! Hopefully this will be recorded for the dvd's since it's the pre-show. Nice historical use for the bones.
  4. It's amusing to think of what this could look like in a week. No one maybe in the same spot. This is just a great season! I wouldn't mind if this was the top 12 this season....just switch a few placements.
  5. Not that I'm a fan of the Cadets show this year...but your comment was out of line. What if some one said that Cavies new ending would be rolling around on the ground for last minute as their new ending...I'm sure you would get all bent out of shape. Play nice...
  6. SCV just past Coats with an 86.75....I know I know....different shows but still....didn't see that coming.
  7. correct me if I am wrong but haven't the past few Div II/III corps that go Div I make finals that year? Seattle in '02 Magic '03 ( I know they made finals in 02 but they were still considered DIV II at the time). What's to say Academy won't? Though...if Academy does make finals it probably will be in the 12th spot and very close.
  8. how do the Cavies get so lucky in these random draws? I believe they were last in Atlanta as well....but don't qoute me.
  9. I think I would be upset as well if corps members were bashing a corps that I was some how involved with. This is not an isolated event however. In Columbus I had two Spirit members do the same thing. They were injured and sitting in the stands two rows behind myself. Would I personally have started this up in a thread....probably not...but since it has been started.....I just wanted to point out that this is not an isolated occurance. I know for one thing....we were not allowed to sit in the stands injured or not...not sure why Spirit does this. If a member was too injured to march they were helping the cook crew or who ever instead of viewing the show from the stands.
  10. The entire ensemble is the corps...then you break it down into the section of brass, percussion and guard...which in turn can be broken down again into specific instrumentation and equipment
  11. This would be a better reflection of standings.....even though because of the Cali show it's really an assumption as to a non head-to-head show can be
  12. + benifit of corps who performed in the afternoon show to evening vs. those corps who did not. # California show 1 Blue Devils 88.475 2 The Cadets 88.15 3 The Cavaliers 88.125 4 Phantom Regiment 86.50 5 Bluecoats 85.925 6 Carolina Crown 84.65 7 Santa Clara Vanguard 84.45 8 Boston Crusaders 80.525 + (evening score was better) 9 Blue Knights 79.85 10 Colts 78.625 + 11 Glassmen 77.375 + 12 Academy 77.350 # ---------------------------- 13 Spirit from JSU 75.550 + 14 Blue Star 75.200 15 Pacific Crest 74.500 # 16 Mandarins 73.800 # 17 Madison Scouts 73.15 ----------------------------------- 18 Crossmen 73.075 19 Southwind 71.35 20 Cascades 70.675 21 Troopers 70.30 22 Pioneer 66.075
  13. so basically that leaves....Glassmen, Pacific Crest
  14. These scores don't really mean much...just a pass to the evening show. I'm sure all of them will probably go down tonight anyways. (not a slam on any of these corps, just the usual afternoon to evening decrease in numbers)
  15. Has there ever been a Champion corps with a female DM? So far there are I believe 3 female head DM's for Div I Bluecoats, Glassmen and SW...could Bluecoats be the first?
  16. Spirit hasn't had a show in three days I believe....it should be interesting to see what kinks they have been working out and how this will effect their placement.
  17. Shouldn't Glassmen and Spirit be tied in 12th? 65.250
  18. can't wait for the blue debut to see the whole thing on the field.
  19. 99 Glassmen HM: 2005 Bluecoats 2000 Boston
  20. So basically...what people are saying is the only way we will ever get a "new" top four is because one of these corps has an "off year"
  21. You could probably pull Cadets and Crossmen off this list cause they "YEA" will probably have their own circut of some sort.
  22. Since BK is considered West I'd say Troopers would classify as west as well! As for the best region I'm going with... 1. Mid-West 2. West 3. South 4. East
