Well we still of to a great start to the year... Let's just call this a minor set back... Thanx to all of those who support us in our time of need... Lets go play the classic and show these guys that they won't stop us... Go Cru!!!

No its on the list kinda on the bottom and I quote Donny "Oh yeah, The Ghost Riders from Parts Unknown should have a slightly larger unit than Harrisburg as well." I presume more people means sounds better but I have been mistaken before...

I would think so... I think him and Rod are having a contest of who can do the most corps in 1 gig... But I think Donny is right...Doug will need a respirator lol...

Well said and I agree with all of that... This problem needs to be addressed and cured before we start seeing this type of thing in more places...

Unfortunatly there was 18 casualties... 5 fatal...one was the gunman... I read that he was dressed in black, walked out onto the stage and opened fire with a shotgun... Sad story...let's all bind together in the drum corps community and send out prayers to their families and friends...

Man missed the weekend due to problems with ride... I missed a great weekend of food...so had to eat the college 'stuff'... Patriots lost the Superbowl.... Could this weekend have gotten any worse lol... Wish I coulda been there with you guys...deffinatly stoked for next camp now...

That is my fault my lack of English skills... I meant the to say since I've been in that this will be a fine product and I got a little excited about that, sorry no harm meant There are many good moments and such in the past as I have heard and keep listening to on some of the old recordings...

You said it all Brian... The corps is coming out with a great show, and a great bunch of people... I am glad that I can be a part of this corps this year.... Yeah for no more high school...

I do have to say that after I listened to the rehearsel myself that this is definatly the best that Ghost has ever sounded. The book is good, this is going to be a good year overall.... Now about the music stands

I completley beleive this, when I was down in the audience, I was close to the front and it was rough trying to listen to some of the other groups that were on the stage. I do also agree that selling of all of that stuff is fine, but take it to another room or outside the door. It is only right to give all of the corps the same courtesy when they perform, whether you like them or not it is just good way to act.

Lol Dougie can be like that, we all get on that side of him at one point or another, and you know 2nd place isn't as bad as it seems, because 2nd place may be the first looser, but look at movies and stuff, 2nd place people are usually the ones who work their hardest for what they do. Just my opninion that's all.

Well I don't really know what to say about all of these possible rule changes that would take place, but I am sure the decision makers at the Rule's Congress will hopefully make the best ones. In my opinion I agree with a lot of the others out there saying that I beleive that are main focus as a mini-corps should be entertainment, this way to make it fun for both the musicians as well as the audience. This congress really could change the mini-corps spectrum forever, so I think that all of you that are going need to do us all a favor, and help mini-corps stand out as much as possible.

Mini-corps in my opinion are better then major big normal DCA corps because I personally think that there is a higher level of quality with the players in the mini corps. Now just to clarify I have no problem with anything that happens in the big corps, and I actually go and attend shows because I love going to see them and if I had the time participate in them. Having just the 21 people in the corps I think provides a level that no bigger corps can have, because at times they can be scrounging to find people to put in their lines just to make it look more full. Also along with the person limit the time limit is nice because it kinda tells people hey we have 10 minutes to do the best we can, and I don't know about any other player in a mini corps but after one of those shows we are tired because we have done all that we can. I recommend mini corps to anyone with a high playing ability, because it allows you the ability to be a little more musical and anyways you have a blast. If your having fun then there's nothing wrong with it. Hope this helps.
