  1. Happy Birthday to you Lancer Fi. Sorry for being so late. Hope all your birthday wishes come true. Eddie
  2. Look like an Elks or Moose lodge. Im sure they have those in Wisconsin.
  3. Nice job on the carpet.. Are these the new Hoovers? :P
  4. I love the Troopers too. Its great to hear that they are back. It would be wonderful to see them in the finals.
  5. The old days. I think in '76 Wyoming was still just a territory. The Indian Chief, "Judge" may have had some type of "treaty" with the Troopers, involving a pipe and some beads perhaps?? Wikipedia states, "Wyoming extended much suffrage to women, at least partially in an attempt to garner enough votes to be admitted as a state. " I guess in '76, it was 27th's women who experienced some of this "suffrage". ( Had to be painful ) Wyoming was granted statehood in '90. They have a road thru the mountains called "Dead Indian Pass" ("We hired Captain Theodore Hornblower to have the judge run out of town!" ) b**bs :)
  6. Guessing right after original sunburst. :sshh: Great field coverage. b**bs Percussion section already on bus. B)
  7. Early flag tossing b**bs Could be Troopers ???
  8. How about all corps keep their uniforms as is, but they all march the same drill.
  9. Thats funny... So the pole did make the trip back from Montreal. Was it disguised as a chime ?
  10. It was amazing the stuff that came off the bus after a tour, that was not there before tour. I think we even had people on the 04. The Beatles Mystery Tour Bus had nothing on the 04. Is the 10 ft pole still attached?
  11. The Purple helmets, Firemens helmets, used by corps all summer, maybe after practice or on "free days". I do not want to see under my tree. :sshh: I would like to have an old Regal Crownsmen Crown with the feathers. Didnt like them at the time. Marching into the wind in a parade carrying my tri-tom was not fun. Does anyone remember those hats? We looked like the Mummers or peacocks.
  12. Its not a Drum Corp head piece, but a USC Trojan band helmet would get you noticed this Holiday season.
  13. 04 memories. How about boiling the 04 seat cushions after tour to make a chowder for b**bs
  14. Spoolie, ??? Never heard of it. Maybe its "Sloopie"? As in "Hang on". Remember that? :)
  15. Easy, I want the full set of Busbies, I'm asking alot, but Ive been very good this year, and Why ? To me they are a symbol of the Best the activity has to offer. When you saw those hats coming, you knew you were in the presence something special. Wow , what a Christmas. I may need more than one xmas tree. Because then, I'd like any of the 1970's St. George Olympian rifle hats ( with Olympian would be real nice, Santa ). What were those hats called? I remember in the late 60's saying to my friends as their guard marched by, " I think I should join that corp."
  16. This is a cool picture. I found Waldo. He's sitting on the left side of the photo, leaning over talking to the Grim Reaper. :)
  17. 80's again... Sat in pool and had a few martinis. Worked on my fantasy football teams and added a few catroons to your thread. Full day having fun.
  18. You might be old if you watched St Ritas Brassmen and St Andrews Bridgemen perform at Madison Sq. garden 1970 Evening with the Corps.
  19. Much better to have gator, than to have gator, have you. b**bs I took a few steps down the food chain moving to Florida.
