Okay, after watching the Atlanta show on my computer, albeit not as clear as it would have been if I was there live, I sees what you mean. Seems like the drill is pretty demanding and they have a lot of work to do in order to clean it. Oh, and by the way, her name is April Gilligan....

Wow, I never thought about the narration like that. Really has me thinking now. Can anyone say Roe vs. Wade? You are right though, the hornline is fabulous. The judges don't seem to think though that the drill is non-demanding.....also, I have watched the show a few times, and the drill looks really demanding in my opinion.

I happen to love a drum corps show where they run around more than 200mph on the field. Nevertheless, Congratulations to them for their wins in Atlanta and Murfreesboro. Let's see how the rest of the season goes.

Probably the most plausible and the most responsible, factual answer I have seen to this question thus far.

I think the four point spread from 1st to 7th shows how good these corps are this year. I just think it would have been nice to see SCV up in the top three again. You all offer some very interesting insight to my question. Someone brought it up before, but there is still a month left in the season so I am hoping SCV can pull something out to get into the top three. But if they don't, it's still all good because from what I see on the scoreboard, ALL these corps in the top 7 are spectacular. Good luck to them, no less.

I saw SCV at the beginning of the season and they beat BD a few times. Now I haven't seen SCV or BD lately but I have a question. From anyone who has recently seen their show compared to the other competitors, how is SCV going so far down in positions? From what I saw at the beginning of the season, they were great. I know that the other competitors are improving on their shows and doing a lot of tweaking, as I am sure SCV is also doing. But from what you (the viewer) have seen thus far, what would you say is the difference between SCV's show now and the show in the beginning of the season AND the other corps' shows? Any explanation would be greatly appreciated.

Well that sucks because I LOVE Cavies. I haven't seen the show this year yet and won't be able to see it until finals, but I usually go into a show with an open, objective mind.

To anyone I may have offended with my comments to other posters, I apologize. I let this thread get to me and kind of opened myself up to attacks. I am not a jerk and did not mean to come off as one. Good luck to ALL the corps this year. And I'll be at finals to see them!!!!
