  6. Thanks for asking if Fahrenheit was going to remain in World Class? Of course they are. Fahrenheit has been a positive influence in the Central Florida colorguard scene. This will be their 10th season and that's no small feat for anyone. We are proud of our record and have been honored to have worked with some of the best in the activity. Once again Fahrenheit will bring something new as they always do. Please feel free to ask any more questions. Thanks

  10. Like Black Watch ( BUT looks like a late 80s or 90s show ) This is a good thing....we need to infuse some old texture from the past with today`s programs. Mix it up.....it will work.
  11. I must admit...I agree with Dugg and reward new things...I too watched the Fan Network s SCV performance and just wasn`t given enough information to give you a truthful response. However ... I was blown away that 3:30 minutes had passed before they crossed past the middle of the floor. From what I can see it looks like the equipment work is very nice....but I will have to wait for the next video and pray its in from the center or right side of the floor. This show is very different if viewed from the right....I will guarantee that. :) I have no doubt it`s stunning.....I can`t wait to see it !
  12. . WAS ALTER EGO THERE? Blessed Sac - one of their more "deep" shows with some very intricate saber work (as usual) and some good flag moments. The show seemed to be about wanting to speak out on issues and being supressed..... or at least that was my interpretation. They had this interesting concept whereby a performer was on a small rotating platform, silent and still, and they seemed almost like a mannequin. It was a really interesting show and I look forward to how it will progress.
  13. A longer review will fill the hollow space in our guts we all feel between weekend contests.....LOL

  17. Just Curious.....but wasn`t Premonition part of the splinter group when Media split in two? They had such a great run last year with that their talented members I can`t wait to see them this year !! Best of luck :)
  18. Congratulations to Fahrenheit Winterguard (s) for the added addition`s to their staff for 2010. One thing is for sure...once again Fahrenheit will show why they have been around as long as they have. Good things come to those that wait.....
  19. Last I heard Tampa area was new location and was told Open Class was starting point as of now.....but nothing in stone as far as class? As always you can check out all things colorguard at Colorguard Historical Society ( CGHS ) www.colorguardhistoricalsociety.org
  20. My suggestion to start out at Colorguard Historical Society( www.colorguardhistoricalsociety.org ) and use it as a launching point. There is a list of guards both active and inactive, pictures, embedded videos. Each group has its own page....some with information listed and others still blank and waiting on the information to come in. List of Colorguard Circuits, Blogs. If you join CGHS you can stay connected with your former marching members and all members of the site. We have been lucky to have some of the best colorguard icons join our site. The thing to remember here.....if you add it today.....it will be here 10 ,15,20 years from now. This is a new project just over 1 year old but a great place to learn some history.
  21. Just wanted to add some insight into what our whole mission is at `Colorguard Historical Society``. Myself (Patrick) and Tony J. have realized the sad fact that our colorguard history was slipping away without any record. Our Website is a place where all current and former marching / designing / instructing / staffing personal can add their knowledge to any current or former guard ever existing. Our list of guards is long...and far from complete but we got a good start. This must be a colorguard community passion to pull this together. Our history is just too vast for 2 people to collect....but we have set up a place for everyone to contribute to the cause. We even have a mp3 player you can add music if you have it. CGHS is still under 1 year old.....but we have documented lots of info in one year, but we have lots to catch up on. Please add your voice to our cause...if you do not see your Guard....add it or send me or Tony a message and we will add it. Now that Guard season is over...we will get more time online to catch up. Visit My Website
  22. Thank You Amy for such a well written Update of Fahrenheit. You are 100% correct on all facts and I just wanted to let all of our friends and fans know that The Fahrenheit Family(organization) is in full steam ahead as we head to Dayton for our chance to share and perform our programs for all to see. Sunday rehearsals after FFCC Championships were at the highest level and the members are so focused and driven and working harder than ever to do what they need to do to make Dayton 2009 another Memorable and rewarding experience for our Organization. Thank You, Patrick Vicari Fahrenheit Support Staff
  23. I was wondering myself what you were referring to in Fahrenheit Open`s program? The guard members have a wht snowflake outlined in blue around one eye. No masks or Winn-Dixie trips in their show :) Could this be the Knights opener creeping into Fahrenheit review? No harm ....The Knights have an amazing show :) This is part of what you wrote : Fahrenheit This was one of 4 shows I saw Sunday that was about cold things: ice, winter, frozen tundra, etc. I just found it funny that all of these “cold” shows were coming from the hottest Regional in the country. As with most other Florida groups, I haven’t seen Fahrenheit since the Ft. Lauderdale Regional at the beginning of February. I came away with a totally different impression this time around. The show is programmed and paced nicely and a lot of the visual and equipment choices are working well for them. And I’m not sure when they started wearing the black ski masks during the opening of the show, but it works great for them. It creates an eerie, faceless, anonymous and VERY uniform look. It also looks as if maybe as an ensemble they’re going to knock over a Winn-Dixie on the way back to Orlando.
