I came to DCI right when Synths and props were becoming very popular in HS marching band. I didn't love DCI because it didn't have those things. I loved it because it was worlds better and more entertaining because of their abilities as performers, not because of props/synths.

North Texas is blessed this season. I can drive to the season opener in DFW, then can go to DCI Dallas, catch a regional in San Antonio for a nice weekend trip then catch the Denton show.

Corps have personalities. Corps staffs have different philosophies on competition and the attitude you carry on to the field and off. Some corps have philosophies I agree more with then others, but every corps can have a Dbag in it. You hope they're just rookies and they're excited to compete, but some corps tend to have more of these types then others.
