So as far as you know there won't be a postponement of quaterfinals??? My thoughts and prayers are with the family of the man that was killed during the storm.

My daughter who is in VK guard just texted me from Michigan City which is under a tornado warning. There was a tornado that touched down about 20 miles from where they are. They are stuck inside with Beatrix right now. She did say that Vk and Beatrix performed for each other today! Love you guys and hope all turns out well!!!

How mamy go to semis and then finals? Doesn't Beatrix not count as they are international? Can't they not knock someone out from moving on?

I was going to bring this one up. I remember my daughter calling and telling me about it. It was such an amazing gesture from one of the top corps to do that for a corps that was near the bottom. I know this is world class forum, but in the open class Incognito has developed an amazing relationship with VK. This was Incognito's first year and the kids from VK remember going the growing pains last year. They have been cheering each other on at every show even though they are competing against each other. At the one of the last shows they had together, Icognito's guard gave VK's guard gift bags with supplies for the trip to finals (Icognito isn't going to finals). A group of them also showed up at VK's farewell performance in Saugus to cheer the kids on and wish them luck for finals.

Does anyone know when the open class finals pay per view will be on sale at DCI? I have been checking everyday and don't see a link to purchase it. I don't want the whole subscription, just the on demand. I've contacted DCI and have not gotten a response as of yet. Thanks!

I sure hope so. I got a text from some of the kids and they seemed a little down. I hope they do better tonight and in Ohio. Love you VK!!!

I was just wondering if anybody knows of a show in Nashville, Tennessee on August 2nd. VK's calendar has this listed as an event, but there isn't anything about it on DCI. Any info????

Incognito won't be going to Michigan City. VK competes tomorrow in Tennesee for the first time in several weeks. We saw them at the friends and family show and they blew everyone away!!! GO VK!!!!

I will try to get it up today. I had some issues with the cameras; I had to sync the sound from one camera to a different tape, blah, blah, blah....too much to go into here. The far shot we got at Saugus was useless as the stadium seating was horrible, but I will let you know when I get the close shot posted!!!!!

...makes me even more sad that i cannot go this year.....
