As much as this alumni would love that, the athletic department would not allow it due to always replacing the grass every summer. However, why couldn't a corps rehearse on the marching band's brand new practice field since it is turf?

After coming home from work and finally getting a chance to read the posts from today, a thought came to me. A challenge to other posters perhaps, including myself. For all those that are tired of the content in this or any other thread or who have complained recently, why don't you start a new thread about a topic that is of "high value" or merit. Come up with something we can all chime in on. If we want to see certain types of threads then we need to be willing to start them from time to time. It's late. I'm tired. Forgive me if this doesn't make sense. I probably should have started this as a new thread actually. Oh well!

Of course you were. I knew exactly what you were talking about. So by your reasoning it is not ok to "criticize drum corps & organizations" but it is ok for you to criticize, bully, demean those that don't agree with you.

Let's clarify something here. I didn't lecture anyone. I just pointed out how all the other corps staff announcements that have come out recently have been professional and from the actual organization. However, that is not the case with the Cadets. To me this speaks volumes about the professionalism of the person in charge.

Plus, it is a Cadets announcement but released on his personal page. Other corps release it on the corps page. It's like Hopkins thinks he is the Cadets and not the director...smh

Thanks for the research! In my opinion, that needs to change. The first impact needs to be sooner to grab the average fan or even some of us hardcore fans. Does this relate to the lack of standing ovations during a show?

Trust me when I say I don't wish this on anyone and it saddens me that it got to this point. Many people including myself have been caught in the crossfire and we love the corps and the kids.

I'm glad folks are waking up to what folks have been saying for a long time.

And that is just the tip of the iceberg.
