Ya, I hadn't seen the spread when I posted. . .but I still think this is very good for Troop. It puts them 1.15 points ahead of Colts (different shows, I know), which is a big number considering that the middle pack of corps is sooo close!

. . .because 75.7 is a great score! It's a 2.3 point jump for Troop! It puts them ahead of the middle pack vying for the last finals spots. . .we'll see how things shape up when Troop meets Scouts and Colts in Windsor on Friday.

Ya, thanks for the updates! I always loved the Ogden show because of the scenery. If you look to the west you can watch the sun set over the great salt lake. The one thing bad about that stadium is the way it's oriented. When you're on the field you have to look directly into the sun (if you go on early), great for fans though.

ya, MFCT Making Finals Casper Troopers

The battle for the last finals spots is going to be where all the fun is this year! You've got Troop, Spirit, Colts, Madison, Academy, and maybe Glassmen all in direct competition. I'm looking forward to Windsor, CO on the 10th (Troop, Colts, and Madison all at the same show), and San Antonio on the 18th (everybody)!

Oh, cool. . .I have matlab on my computer, but I never use it. I use minitab or excel for my statistical calculations.

lovin' this post. . .what program did you use? I'm happy you got a correlation coefficient, it helps to be able to predict future scores!

ya. . .if the fans judged you would see 4 or 5 point jumps or drops from one night to the next, lol. [\sarcasm] but I still see the need for shows to be judged by "educated" judges so that corps can get an idea on what to work on. . .

just wait until they make finals. . .it'll take a half hour just to get everybody on the field, lol!

Troop loses. . .

Phantom's shows seem to be designed for finals. They don't look that great and are hard to read early, but just wait for finals and you'll get the picture.

I always thought Troopers DM should use his sabre to conduct. . .that would be a show in itself!
