I completely agree with you, which sounds biased, but it is true. We had a physically demanding show, and while as happy as I am that we did so well for a corps that almost went inactive, I wish we could've been higher. That doesn't mean I didn't like Mempho's show, but I feel like there could've been more.

I like to feel like I've been a big part of this. Those are my friends lol.

They don't have a rifle line. It's a pole line. Secondly, Brand X is going back to their roots with "new" uniforms!! They will feature a Wal-Mart brand sweatshirt and tattered jeans with steel-to boots. They will also feature Red or Blue bandanas, depending on who's on which side. But you didn't hear it for me.

Brent Becker is a pretty busy man so I can't bother him if that's what anyone was thinking just so you know. If anyone can reply within the next day or two that would be great. :ph34r: :worthy: :worthy: :mat: :mat:

I marched and finished this season with a torn LCL in my left knee. But I would do it all over again if I had too.

the all nude kazoo line was banned. So they will wear skin tight white clothing and hose themselves down. On a lighter note they were able to attain bassline, until the feds realized that BDC's kids were missing.

no you didn't. What I mean is that the cadets get booed for their overexcessive use of mics. People boo because they don't like it, but they don't take into consideration that those are people in those uniforms. I'm not a big fan of the cadets but i'm not gonna boo them.

BTW, what I say is not the opinion of my corps, it is mine so don't take offense and say anything hurtful to the OC. Say it to me.

The way I see it is that we've never really been a family friendly activity. The reason is this: there is no such thing as family friendly. It's life. When you enter a corps you're usually in high school, so therefore you've already experienced some rather unpleasent things. So joining a Drum Corps doesn't change you negativley. The Cadets get bored because they are changing Drum Corps. Yes change is good, but what they are doing with the mics is upsetting so I get the point. (why it upsets me- When you spend that much time talking instead of playing you take away from your music effect. If it continues like this it's going to be Drum & Bugle & Microphone Corps) But that doesn't give you the right to boo. Secondly if you're not booing deal with it. Those that boo don't understand.

I heard there drum major chased down mickey mouse when they didn't get the spirit of disney award for they're "A meth dealer suite" show. And the reason Brand X hasn't folded is because of the "indentured servants" that have to march for them. Seems like another year for BX.

Back to the OC for another, and staying until I age out!

the back of our corps jackets say "Crusasders" and some guy came and started asking me about massachussettes and boston. That was akward. I remember in that show where they mis-pronounced everything. "Drum Majors Rick Varnish and Hallee suon is your band......uh....CORPS ready?" that was a good one or before the show "From St.Helens, Oregon, the Oregon Crusaders!!!" after "From Portland, Oregon, the Oregon Crusaders!!" I can't wait until we get those places where they say ORYGUN instead of OREGON... that always bugged me.

I slept everywhere and it was awesome. I remember in sacramento when we got to our housing site, our bus driver set up his air mattress in the cargo bay and slept there.
