Sigh....i attend Campbell University, a private college that doesn't have a marching band...only a pep band....*Cries* Although....they're working the budget to have a marching band my senior year....(with me writing drill...and working with brass) YES...lol

I always personally listened to some queen? (lol and i'm 20) Although as a group, we always just sung through our show....but sung...i mean...screamed loudly and out of tune...it was fun though =\ lol.

I really have to agree with the OP....it had that awesome visual package that the cavies always bring, but I was not a fan of the music either... It seems to me that some corps can step out of their normal boundaries and do really well (bluecoats)...and for others it just doesn't work.. Don't get me wrong though....i love me some cavies :)

Yea, I'm checking into an Amtrak...120 dollars round trip...considering if i drove it would be 160-170 in gas, it's a better option, (plus no wear and tear on the car) *sigh* now i just have to get out of my drill weekend my indoor ensemble to go

Speaking of rifles, i noticed this thread has turned into just that. what about sabre? and also, what about the guard being used as a main feature of the show to tell the story (IE the zone, or possibly even what cavies did in 06 with machine...personally it seems brilliant what they did with the guard in that show)

lol that one part in the cavies show...right before it went broadway...you know after the solo...that one part that sounded like the cavaliers...haha...
