  1. Not yet, but last time I've checked Crown, BD, and SCV can compare scores out of 100 based on the thoughts of DCI certified judges who determine placement, and correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Crown currently closer to 100 than both BD and SCV? P.S. Ive seen Crowns show. The last 2 minutes the entire corps doesnt take anything near to over an 8 to 5 and half the show is dancing around... im sorry, but to me that is low difficulty
  2. I thought it was quite relevant and descriptive about the content... hmmm...
  3. crown probably will at one point soon peak... theyre show is centered around body movement, and i've seen the show 3 times now... the only reason there beating cadets, bd, and scv is because theyre show is extremely clean. There isn't too much difficulty to theyre show. they will peak soon.
  4. What a great oppertunity with a GREAT corps. If you even think you might be able to check it out, its well worth it! Good luck CRU, and I can't wait to see your progress!
  5. 1. Buccaneers 2. Cabs 3. MBI 4. Hurcs 5. Statesmen 6. Bushwackers 7. Renegades 8. Corpsvets 9. Crusaders 10. Brigs If im right, you all owe me something at finals... I don't know what it is yet... but I'll think of it...
  6. Don't know where you got that info, but I can pretty much guarantee that if its from corpsreps thats its wrong seeing as how thats already been proven to be a rumor and has nothing to back it up.
  7. lost 55 pounds last summer... gained it all back... ill lose it again this year. I play contra so I gained alot of muscle too.
  8. I marched with the Rochester Crusaders in 05 before going to DCI the past 4 years... Every year I come back and fill a hole for finals, and to me the Crusaders are always going to be my home corps. I encourage young kids to do DCA for a year or 2 before going to DCI. It really helps you prepare for whats coming.
  9. I gotta disagree with this one... I don't know about all of you guys, but when a great classic drum corps moment comes along I'm not gonna sit around and be polite and quiet... Just sayin'... p.s. Its please silence your cell phone... there is a mode where you can turn the ringer off... I know its alot of new technology, but hey, I'm sure everyone will catch on.
  10. for years past: 901! for the past few years: humming the final countdown as we march onto the field... its a contra thing tho
  11. I would have to say its difficult to say who has the best hornline (do you mean loudest, most technically correct, cleanest, or just the most trophies), and I know hardly anything about colorguard, but I would have to say Vanguards 04 drumline is by far one of the cleanest, and most demanding drumlines that I can think of. The only drumlines that can even compare are the recent (06, 08) Phantom Regiment lines, and maybe Cadets 03. Blue devils drumlines are hardly ever that clean, and are usually just very flashy. IMO
  12. I agree. it makes a lot of sence. I know personally, I don't have a spare $3000 a year for tour, but somehow I'm pulling it off because I only have a couple years left. It would be much easier if I had more time.
  13. Find me a dca corps who don't have a few people who take shots at their rival corps and I'll show you a corps that needs to relax a little.
