This past year I would say in terms of entertainment SCV was way ahead of BD. BD usually has Bad ### shows, but SCV just has a way of doing things

I played PR's arrangement for a high school show in 2007. Not terribly hard music by any means (except for about 45 seconds), but it was awesome to play. I still have the mello arrangement and it is truly epic. I've probably watched the show 50 times, and each time I find another visual error , but the music is adrenaline pumping. As far as I can remember phantom has always been better musically then visually. It's still one of my favorite shows though, regardless.

I would imagine vet members would resent noobies ordering them around though, ye?

I don't think the cavies canned Bruno ( If that's what you're getting at). In 08 the cavies were hot going into championships, snapping BD's win streak in allentown. PR just came through in the end and BD did the same thing they had done all year. A very good 3rd place show that would of won in 2007 (in my opinion) Last year they were paralyzed by a poor show choice. Visually they were clean, musically they were good, it's just there show didn't leave much leeway for things, such as General effect ( Pretty much a BS category). Everybody brought their best this year, and they peaked at quarterfinals (which can't happen). I don't know why Bruno left, but I know the cavies would of gone great lengths to keep him. He was Fielders second in command for many years, I'm sure he learned from the best.

Just play in front of people as much as you can. Audition for everything you can, even if you don't have a huge interest in it. The more you do it the easier it'll get.

They were very good this year don't get me wrong, but from a cavie fans point of view their show design\concept wasn't up to par with the last 10 years.

Woot. Thank god I got the Dvd before they took out a part of phantoms shows Yes, the audio volume is terrible.
