First Up Was Platinum not bad for a new Corps.
Show titled American Dream
actually some nice arrangements
Would compare them to the old Class B class
American Faces (Holsinger) is the closer . when the corps doesnt run out of gas will fit well and be a highlight
2nd was the Spartans
I have NO IDea why they would go on 2nd but they DID
AND THEY ARE BACK
Fire Dances is CLASSIC Spartans.
Great low and Middle brass
For a corps that took a year off VERY NICE
looks pretty close to full .they use the field well. should stay top 5 (unless 7th Reg pushes them out )
3rd Blue Saints from Sudbury Ontario
small corps 10 brass
Playing Music from Tim Burton
they need more time and maybe shouldnt be in opem class yet
4th Les Stentors
First time ever seeing this Corps and the first time out mvery well
Brass had some really good monents crowd loved them
they belong here and will improve twards the championship
and could make a push for top 10
5th 7th Regiment
I saw them in Bristol and well they were BAD
I do NOT know what they did in the past 2 weeks but WOW
they put it all together
it was a total package
A dark Show called Macbre
and it is DARK BUT VERY ENJOYABLE
some very hard runs for all brass probably the hardest ive see an open class play in a while
the score jump from Bristol to now was 7 points I think it should have been highers
as it was they lost to the spartans by 1.5 points
look out Spartans the will close that gap
