^ thats why I prefer Bach over Yamaha any day. Bach is just so much better sounding. My girl is a Bach Strad, the Big Apple edition. Shes the first Horn Ive ever played where its practically "think the notes and there they are" for lack of a better way to say it

There was this guy who lived a while back who was also deaf but an incredible composer...his name was Beethoven. I always applaud those who dont let their disabilities weigh them down and keep them from doing what they want to do. Theyre the true role models for this society. :)

I'm allergic to silver...So I prefer Gold over anything else, really. to me, nickel sounds like crap (no offense to anyone who uses it or likes it...thats just my opinion) Silver and Gold are my two favorites...prefferably gold, because it doesnt irritate me as easy...and I love the sound the gold makes. I have two mouthpeices, one in gold and one thats all silver: Bach Megatone 3C (gold) Holton MF 6 (silver) My horn is also pure silver...so I usually have to wear gloves when I play it for long periods of time, else my hands will get dry and irritated...

lotta water, lotta hydration... Gatorade usually does the trick :) although it can screw up the inside of your horn >.>
