You can contact the director Vicki MacFarlane at colts@colts.org or you can visit the colts website at www.colts.org The Colts are holding open auditions at the January camp which takes place Jan. 11-13 at the Five Flags Center in downtown Dubuque. Details about the camp and audition process are on the website.

I think its funny that all these people are commenting on Open Class and World Class corps being judged on the same sheet for Thursday of Finals week. The sheets are all the same. The only thing that is different is the heading at the top of the page. One says World Class, and the other says Open Class. All the numbers, descriptions, and even the colors of the captions are the same. Its the judges judging that is different. So its not the sheets that are going to determine if an Open Class corps moves up, its the judges actually judging. Personally I think the judges should judge every group the same regardless if they have 12 year olds or 21 year olds, 150 members or 25 members, amped pit or unamped pit. Be honest to the kids....if they did half the show well....then give them a 50....and so on. Hopefully those Open Class corps that choose to go to Indy on Thursday are warned that their score will go down across the board, because unfortunately they will be judged differently than they have all year.

Looks like the Colt Cadets are bringing it!!! It would be absolutely fantastic to see them in finals for the FIRST TIME EVER!!!!

Vote for the Colts in the Chase Community Giving program. With a vote for the Colts, you are helping the Red Cross provide meals for disaster victims (example: Haiti, New Orleans, Iowa flood victims, etc.) Help the Colts make an impact not only in the Dubuque area music programs, but maybe just maybe they will be able to help your community if the Red Cross is needed in your area. Help make a difference Nationwide if not Worldwide. Please take time to vote for the other 3 drum corps as well. (Phantom, Cavaliers, and Carolina Crown)

Also, everyone that is a fan of DCI and is able to vote needs to vote for all four drum corps. If we split the vote....not one single corps is going to make it in the top 10, let alone the top 5. If we have all of the drum corps fans voting for all 4 corps, who knows.....maybe all 4 will be in the running for at least 100,000.

Just thought it would be appropriate to put up a chase voting post in the open class forum because a vote for the Colts also helps out the Colt Cadets. I ask you to help out a fellow open class corps with a vote for the Colts. Make sure and vote for the Cavaliers, Phantom, and Carolina Crown as well. You have 4 votes, so use them to help out all the drum corps. Without the whole DCI fan base voting for all 4 drum corps, not one of the corps has a chance at even making the top 5.
