anybody there to give us a "corps-by-corps" happenings ??? hoping so !

yeah...... still not a full judging panel... so Im expecting "it" to happen.... Sure would like to be surprised ! Guess we'll have to wait for a full judging panel. Hope the corps have a good night....... sounds like GREAT weather..!!

Excited about this new season, as there seems to be a real dynamic curiosity about what lies ahead !!! Regular shows and power regionals have me just buzzing with excitmentl......but just a reminder...... I know whos thread this is but with the naming of corps that could potentially take the cake this year, remember there's a corps that took 2nd once... and they have a show this year that could "displace" some that are used to their locations and seats on the bus !!!! Im sure Bluecoats will be ready.... Cant wait for July 17th...

Ok Blue Stars.... you are in your state here.... !!!! TURN IT ON !!!!!!!!! Let the realing in begin !!!!!! Its time...... This drum corps organization is due !!! Lets see some great shows by all, and I sure hope this corps turns it up a notch, like they know they can !!!!! FCO !!!!!!!!

Prairie Sound person...... A uniform DOES NOT make a drum corps ! The members, staff, leaders and alum are behind the corps....... are the reason this great organization is where it is today, and has risen to this level after so many years....... If you and Sanzy are so upset because it doesnt "look" like the uniform that "you" know, then I feel sorry for you...... SO MUCH MORE TO DRUM CORPS THEN A UNIFORM.......... Once you hear the music to this show you will understand that the staff and those show designers realized that a "darker" look was needed. Maybe once you've seen the show... so please, until then, plesae hold your comments to yourself, and wait unitl you have visual proof that the directional team has moved thsi corps forward and in a correct look. If it helps................ close your eyes and think 1980 !!! Thank-you from a very active and proud alum !

SFZFAN..... what exactly is wrong with this uni..? No-it doesnt have cross straps.... no doesnt have white bibs.... BUT ........ This corps is rockin' !!!!!!!!! They are hot !!! AND have a GREAT SHOW.... Just a note to yourself.... (open your mind...... a uniform DOESNT make a drum corps..... the members do.....) AND THIS CORPS HAS ITS HEAD ON.......and FOCUSED !!!! Look out to those above.......!

I really enjoyed that show... (Suncoast 88).... and their shows thru the years......... This is a corps I wish could make a comeback like some other corps have !!!

Im sorry, as an alum of this fine drum and bugle corps, please do not take the name of this wonderful organization and slander it ! Thank-you As far as the uni... this is a darker show... with dark/intense music..... This show would not look correct out there with a bright white uniform !

I wouldnt throw the state of Wisconsin out of that "Top 5" theory just yet................... We still have over a month of drum corps to see, change, unfold, revise, etc......... Granted a few of the others named in this thread are there for a reason, but please....... dont count out WI !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its really nice in the area today.... hoping the night stays as nice as the day has started !!!! Maybe the weather gods will be kind !!!!!! Sunny... low winds... low humidity !!!

Ok Benchmark...Hope tio meet you at the big regional in Minneapolis/StPaul.......... with you being a member or our armed services, I still havnt stopped shaking yet.......um yeah.. so... hope you enjoy........ ta ta for now !!!!

I agree.... all I can add to that is "good for the home corps !!!!!" Standing O's away from home CAN be very hard, especially if you go on after a better show... right after break..... lots of reasons... I agree......

If you want to talk politely, I suggest you get off the hot dog stuff !!!!! Their were times that the corps DID put out some sound, drums... some good rifle and flag tosses.... however, The only standing O, that I recall, was as the corps marched by and the announcers did the "from ............................" jargon... And yes... everyone stood at that time.... clapped.... no, not the intime clap like Pioneer gets when they finish..... they applauded the corps for their efforts and for a job well done with the show they had.......

It was great weather for both shows..... 70's dipping into the lower 60's at shows end. Both venues were high enough to see drill, great for horn shots at the press box, and you could really see some great stick action from the snares when they had their moments.....

I was at both Madison and Stillwater shows....... would you like my seat number as welllllll...?

again... I WAS THERE......... and saw reactions....... If I had to say anything... it probably was a 75/25 % clap/applause/like.......... vs what us others thought..

Im not going to lie to you...... I and others.... thru the entire croud... sat and clapped... alot of fans watching up here had a look on their face of a "what the heck" type look...... (the fans I was sitting around.. let me restate.....)

no judges...so it basically was a show where everyone showed up and performed, and the show sponcers went with the idea of showing the corps... and letting the fans deceide. Thats what a friend who was at the show told me last night. Makes me wonder what DCI was thinking ... no judges for a show... ??? making it an exibition in a sense.

Thank you DCF..... Seems rather touchy here in the room tonight......If you feel I ruffled feathers, then thats how YOU feel.... I just stated how I felt about a certain show by a certain corps....... plain and simple... Posters like 2000 and friends have a love for THIS corps...... thats fine..... Many may find the corps entertaining.... some obviously dont........... but the ones that dont have EVERY RIGHT to post how they perceive the show.... how they watch others in the stands observe the show, and thats it. If you dont like what someone has to post about something that you happen to adore, then you have all rights to iggy that person..... its a free world...............

oh gee everyone.... please step back..... All I stated was 1- I like the music to this show..... 2-I find Jeffy-Johny-whomever the charactor is on the field..... to be distracting for the entire 11 minutes plus of the show.... 3-I dont care for hot dogs... but thanks for your concerns......... So with that being in public view... this concludes the theory that (I have) on the 2010 HNC show regarding .... Anyone else has the table to talk..... I have stated what I needed/wanted to... and am looking forward to watching some good drum corps this summer... Have a nice evening !
